Oh BTW I use a combo of Skype for my free out going calls and http://voicestick.com for my free incoming line, voice mail.... They gave me a $5 call out credit, seems to work as well as Skype. Like there dialer better.

Google talk is VERY clear sounding. I am interested in the WI Fi angle.

The only thing that has a chance of becoming a ubiquitous replacement for telecommunications is something like SIP or (my guess) Jingle, because they are *standards*. You can have a Jabber address with one company, and I can have a Jabber address with another company, and we can both communicate, just like email.
